Every Sunday, babies through fifth-grade children will get to be a part of safe, fun, age-appropriate services where they can encounter the Lord. If you have an infant, we have a Nursing Mother’s Room where you can watch the service and care for your newborn in a dedicated space until you’re ready for them to join us in Power Place Kids.
POWER PLACE
STUDENTS
Power Place Students is our ministry for sixth through twelfth-grade students that meets each Wednesday. At Power Place Students our aim is to help students encounter the Lord’s presence daily, so they’ll spend the rest of their lives following Jesus. We believe the next generation of the church will change the world!

At The Power Place, we understand that community with other like minded believers is of the utmost importance. Our goal is that anyone who comes to our church has the ability to join in a community and encounter the Lord together. Check out all of our Power Groups below!

TRUTH
Absolute Truth = Complete Freedom
We believe the Bible from cover to cover. The greatest counsel you will ever receive is from the Word of God and being in His presence daily. (2 Timothy 2:25, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, John 8:31-32)
STEWARDSHIP
Don’t Be a Stupid Steward
We manage Heaven’s resources for the Father’s business. The heart’s cry of a good steward is, “It will never be mine; it will always be Yours!” We give Him our Time, Talent, Treasure, and Tongue. (Matthew 6:21, Matthew 25:14-30, 2 Corinthians 9:7-8)
EXCELLENCE
Excellence is a Reflection of Heaven
He gave us His best, so we give him ours. (1 Corinthians 10:31, Daniel 6:3, Philippians 4:8)
UNITY
A House Divided Against Itself can not Stand
We choose to lean into intentional conversations because hard conversations lead to health. (Psalm 133:1-3)
REAL
We Don’t do Fake
Real relationships bring real results.
We don’t shy away from vulnerability or transparency in building authentic relationships. (2 Corinthians 1:12, 1 Corinthians 11:1, 2 Corinthians 12:9)
HEALTH
Daily Encounters With the Lord Matter
We prioritize our health by submitting our mind (Romans 12:1-2), body (1 Corinthians 6:19), soul and spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23) to the Lord.
We honor the Sabbath. (Exodus 20:8)
We come away before we come apart. (Mark 6:31 then Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.” He said this because there were so many people coming and going that Jesus and His apostles didn’t even have time to eat.)
Health produces health. (John 15:4, Deuteronomy 6:5, Matthew 22:37-39)
LOUD
His Honor Over our Dignity
Our situation doesn’t dictate our praise, our praise dictates our situation. (Joshua 6:20, Psalm 33:3, Psalm 150:3-6)
OBEDIENCE
Obedience is the Key to Life
We live by the nudge of the Holy Spirit and the power of God’s word. As He leads, we follow. (1 Samuel 15:22, John 14:23, Deuteronomy 5:33)
HUMILITY
We Get Low
We choose to lay our earthly crowns down at the feet of the Lord. Pride must die as we humble ourselves before Him. The Lord exalts the humble. (Matthew 23:12, Proverbs 22:4, Peter 5:6, James 4:10, 2 Chronicles 7:14)

We don’t live by what we see or feel, we live by the Word of the Lord. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
Expectation is the breeding ground for miracles.
Beliefs
WE BELIEVE THE BIBLE IS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD
We believe the Bible from cover to cover and we believe there is not a single error in the Bible. Both the new and old testament still stand true to this day. The prophecies and promises in His Word are just as much for today as they were back when they were written.
WE BELIEVE THAT GOD IS THE ONE TRUE GOD AND JESUS CHRIST IS HIS SON
We believe there are no other gods but THE God, who created the heavens and earth and sits on the throne. We believe that Jesus, who is the son of God, was with God from the beginning along with the Holy Spirit. We believe God sent His son, Jesus, to be born of a virgin and walk the earth in human form. He lived a sinless and blameless life. Jesus was both fully man and fully God. Jesus was sent to die and pay the price for our sin for us that we may have Everlasting and eternal life through His death and resurrection. We believe He is coming back for His church, just like He said before He ascended to Heaven.
WE BELIEVE IN COMMUNION AND WATER BAPTISM
We believe in communion and Water Baptism. Communion is both a remembrance and a celebration of what Christ did for us and what he continues to do for us today. We also believe that the next step after you have asked Jesus to come into your heart and wash you of your sins for you to make a public declaration of your faith. That public declaration is called Water Baptism.
WE BELIEVE IN THE HOLY SPIRIT AND ALL OF THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the Holy Spirit and ALL of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We believe that on the day of Pentecost, Jesus, through The Father, gave us full access to The Holy Spirit and all the gifts of The Spirit. The gifts of the Spirit are wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, gift of tongues and the interpretation of tongues. We are to walk with the Spirit everyday just as the disciples walked with Jesus in the flesh.
WE BELIEVE IN BIBLICAL MARRIAGE
We believe in Biblical Marriage. We believe that marriage is made for one man and one woman. We believe that there is not a single scripture in the Bible that supports same sex relationships or same sex marriage.
